Questions
What to know before you buy
Is there really no subscription?
No. You pay $4.99 once and everything unlocks for good. There are no other purchases in the app at all.
Can I change how it looks?
Yes, and it's free: five styles, three tuner displays, three metronome visuals, surfaces, any accent color, light or dark, and five app icons.
Do I need an account or internet?
No. There's no sign-up and everything works offline. Internet is only needed for YouTube links and the purchase itself.
Which instruments does it support?
Electric and acoustic guitar (6, 7 or 8 strings), classical nylon guitar, and bass (4, 5 or 6 strings).
Can I slow down YouTube videos?
YouTube links open in YouTube's official player with speed (0.25–2×) and an A–B loop. For the full Studio (pitch kept, tempo detection, the click) record or import your own video.
Which iPhone do I need?
Any iPhone on iOS 17 or later. 240 fps slow-mo works on models whose camera supports it.
What happens to my recordings?
They stay on your phone only. You can save your whole library as a .zip in Files and restore it on a new phone.

Your data stays on your phone
The app collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. There is no account, server, analytics, advertising or third-party SDK.
Microphone and camera
- The tuner listens through the microphone and analyzes the sound on the device. Tuner audio is never recorded.
- The Studio records with the camera and microphone only when you press record. Recordings stay in the app's own folder.
- The app asks for permission only the first time you use a feature.
YouTube
YouTube links open in YouTube's official player, where YouTube's own terms and privacy policy apply. The app does not save or analyze those videos.
Purchases and backups
Apple handles purchases; we never see payment details. A .zip backup is stored only where you save it. Deleting the app deletes everything.
